I wrote my last self-summary when I first joined, and it is evident that I didn't put forth any effort way back when. Not that I'm doing any better now, as I am just rambling. Yep, rambling.

I have been in Seattle 8 years now and am somewhat settled in. I have a son of five. I am a rough form of a goth and have little to do with most people . I expect a lot out of people and do not feel guilty . These days I am largely a loner and have come to enjoy this lifestyle immensely . I have established a criteria I hold myself to these days when considering a possible mate. I am definitely looking for my Bonnie and nothing less.

I don't know how to write these things!!! I am just learning how to "self promote". After a lifetime in the restaurant business I have gone on to see if I can make it in the high tech world. So many years walking in with the ego and the skills to back it up with and now I am starting over again. It has taken awhile, but it's working and I am a lot happier.

I was born and raised in NJ. And, no, not that part! I was brought up by the ocean. Moved to WA 11 years ago, moved back to NJ, figured out why I left in the first place and came back to WA. Then I realized that my career choice was all wrong also! Classes and learning on my own have taught me what I need to start a new career and the best puppy in the whole wide world gives me that "too cute" look everyday, but there is something else missing.

I play the guitar (depends on who you talk to as to how well) and read alot. And yes I am a NY Yankee fan. (My first year here was 1995, though, so I gained alot of respect for the Mariners.)

I'm laid back and try to take everything in stride, but I can get a little awkward sometimes. I like to hang out at home with my roomie and watch cartoons or real life crime dramas, or go out for cocktails at the local dive bar.

I try very hard to be a good person. To be open, honest, kind, helpful, but sometimes I mess it up and act like an ass. I've learned to apologize. I collect people of the same nature.

Little things make me happy like Haribo® Gold-Bears®, my Snuggie®, colorful socks, and a clean kitchen. However, I get bored easily so I end up entertaining myself in unusual ways like making up stories about the random objects that live on my coffee table, talking to the dog, or singing conversation instead of talking.

Experience Junky would be how many of my friends would describe me! Whether it is taking a class on aerial dance, or becoming an impromptu roadie to catch a show at Nuemo's and hang out back stage I live to do rather than simply be.

I am a bit of a geek in that I go to the renn faires SCA and like it. I also like camping and go up to TRC and occaisionally the Olympic Rainforest.

I am equally at home at a bluegrass festival as I am in a dance club and am very personable and gregarious. It is rare that I end up going anywhere without knowing at least a few people that are already there and some people find that intimidating.

Every other Sunday I try to go to brunch with some guys that are fun to hang out with. I am happy to try and rearrange my schedule though if someone interesting comes along it just may take a little patience.

If you have heard of Star Trek Phoenix I am involved in the production as a recurring character named Moural. He is the ship's bartender and an exiled Romulan Senator. It is a very fun role with a lot of room for individual interpretation of the character. According to Evening Magazine's piece we are also presently the largest film production in the Northwest.

PARTY HARD.

I've got a bit of goth left over from college but mostly I'm just cynical. Cynical is funny. I'm very social, and there's rarely a night that I'm just home alone (unless I'm playing games and chatting w/ friends online at the same time). My room is alternately a mess or clean. Clean right before a party, mess afterwards until I clean it for the next one. Okay I'm not that bad. But seriously I definitely use company as an excuse to keep my living space tidy.

I've been told I'm a jello shot connoisseur (definitely had to look that one up, i took spanish, not french).

My interests are just about as varied as you get. Video games are right up there. I read a lot: sci-fi, fantasy, erotica, fiction, "graphic novels" if you will (comic books to those not in the know). I'm a grammar snob to myself but not a bitch about pointing it out to others. I'm addicted to the internet. Webcomics are a daily.

I love most sports, but not watching them. I'd rather be out there. Currently boxing, and playing soccer. And I will be eventually get back into rugby. I swear.

I loved school, and plan to go back in a year and a half (give or take). I like to draw occasionally. I write constantly, but only every so often is it a true work of fiction (rather than simply journal entries or something). Late night philosophical discussions are great - so is a night out blasted and dancing until my feet can't carry me anymore. Fashion is fun, I'll dress up to go anywhere. =)

I hate writing this kind of thing - it's like a resume - trying to sell yourself in one page...I hope that most of us are more complex than that!

I love music - particularly classical and Jazz, but play some decent R&B, and I'll be the first one on the dance floor! I love to hang out with my friends and family - and laugh until we cry. I love to sing/make music - it restores me to sanity in this crazy world! I love urban life, with all that goes with it - I also love the quiet and calm of getting out of town for a couple of days...suburbs are not my thing. I love to start my day with coffee, the newspaper (or NPR) and a cat on my lap. Perhaps with the second cup, wandering around the garden to see what has changed. Pull a few weeds, listen to the birds, and feel the bass from the car speeding down the street (oh yeah - that's reality butting its head into my fantasy). I love to read - mysteries, travelogues, history, cultural studies - I generally have 3-4 books going at all times. I love to travel - I've been interested in Turkey, Bosnia, and Croatia lately...

I was lucky enough to grow up in a very artistic environment and the family always encouraged art and finding what you love to do, unless it was to be a politician or lawyer, then you were locked in a cage...

I'm usually pretty quiet at first and some would say shy, but I'm usually distracted by the random daydreams wandering about my mind.

I live inside my head a lot (see above statement), and my mind wanders and races and swims and plays racquetball and never seems to rest, but I get along with just about everyone. My friends all love to have me around, but probably because I don't drink, therefore the designated driver.

I am easily entertained, not in a rabid squirrel with ADHD way (whatever that's supposed to look like), but in a way where I can find the fun in most things. I have a great sense of humor, at least I would hope so growing up with a Dad and his friends who are all famous cartoonists and journalists, except Mark... He's a surgeon (yay free MRIs!). My Dad would probably stop talking to me if I didn't laugh at his jokes... Only to call back an hour later to make fun of me.

I lived in different countries before moving to the US at 12. It sounds great at first, but it's made it hard for me to feel close to people I meet and has made it hard for me to have lasting connections. It's fun to keep trying though, and I generally like to be around new people, ideally by snuggling them <3

If I have to guess about someone's motives, I think it's safe to assume that person is not my friend. I place high value on intentional verbal communication and low value on "clues" and "hints". That said, I don't care much about things that don't affect me. In that regard, I'm very easy-going.

People who have a lot of dramas and issues are obnoxious to me. I've seen far too many people imitating Jerry Springer episodes in their personal lives and it's both amusing and disgusting to me. I refuse to live that way.

I feel the most myself when I am on the sidewalk walking. I focus, making sure my muscles are working correctly -- that I am using my abs to walk and not simply relying on my legs. I make sure my weight is on the ball of my foot and not my heel (which is what I used to do and it caused lots of problems). I try to be mindful of my breath, feeling it flow all the way to my first chakra and trying to free up my second chakra. There are other considerations and checks going on, but all you'd see, if you saw me, would be someone either very relaxed, possibly smiling at you or someone simply lost in thought. I have a very rich internal life.

It takes a lot of balls to play golf like I do! I started golfing April of 2008. So, I'm still a hack but I'm getting better (best round so far is 87). I write songs and music. I am a Christian, all be it, a bit of an unusual one. After spending many years in the church I found myself becoming the religious person I never wanted to be, that God does not want any of us to be. In 1997 I went on a soul searching journey. As a result I found my resounding faith to be in God and Jesus and not rules and institutions made by man and call myself a Liberated Christian.

It took 25 years of my adult life to shake the shackles of religion where in I denied my sexuality and high sex drive. Today I embrace and enjoy my high sex drive with sexual skills, stamina, and desire to bring out the maximum pleasure in you. I see my sexuality and high sex drive as the gift from God it is meant to be. Pleasure is good and it is to be explored and enjoyed. I'm a college educated professional now working as a programmer for Amazon. I really enjoy the work I do, and see myself staying with Amazon for many years.
